After settling in to life as an engaged couple, Courtney & Josh met with me again for a few more photos, this time with some preparations. We hit some significant locations for the couple. We started our morning in Soulard and got some great morning light. Courtney & Josh's first apartment together was in Soulard, full of charm and character (the neighborhood, the apartment, and the couple!). Then we went to Belleville to where it all began for them, the old campus of Belleville West. They reminisced about the beginning of their story while I snapped away!
These two make my job easy!
A few tips from the session:
-a variety of clothing is a great way to spice up the session and get a great selection of photos! I loved thier "house divided: Illini/Mizzou" shots!
-waking up very early is worth the effort. The light was so pretty at 7 am! (the streets of Soulard were less than pretty at this hour however!)
-personalize your session! I loved that the places, outfits, and stories were personal for Courtney & Josh! And, I think it helped for an easy and comfortable session - that makes for much better photos!
